Graniittiklubi Opens at Paasitorni

The historic setting of Paasitorni welcomes an urban new addition as the Focused on culture, cuisine and conviviality, the new club-restaurant marks a fresh chapter in the landmark building.
Graniittiklubi is aimed primarily at those interested in culture, who appreciate good food, drink, music and meeting others in a sophisticated yet relaxed environment. The club is perfect for a pre-theatre or concert stop, for staying late into the evening, or simply stopping by spontaneously to enjoy the moment.

“The club came from the desire to create a place where culture, food and socialising come together seamlessly. The historic surroundings of Paasitorni provide the setting, but the key is atmosphere—an inviting, approachable space where you feel comfortable both before and after a show,” says Kristian Helanne, Managing Director.

Shared flavours and lounge ambience

Graniittiklubi offers seasonal flavours as shareable tapas and pinsa (Italian flatbread pizzas), all prepared using domestic ingredients. The service model combines ordering at the counter with table serving.

“We wanted to build a food concept that works with shared moments. The dishes at Graniittiklubi are designed to be shared—they’re visually appealing, tasty and easy to approach. Our kitchen philosophy is based on seasonal ingredients and domestic origin,” explains Kitchen Manager Sami Toijanen.

The interior design company Muuan created a modern lounge feel for Graniittiklubi that respects the history of Paasitorni.
“In the interior, we wanted to bring out the strong stone identity of the building and combine it with an urban, contemporary vibe. The result is a space that feels both historical and up-to-date—a place where you’re welcome to linger,” describes interior architect Alice Mattila.
