Location

Paasitorni is located in Siltasaari in Helsinki, next to Hakaniemi square, on the shore of Eläintarhanlahti bay. The congress centre enjoys a central location with excellent transport links.
There are plenty of services on the doorstep, including Hakaniementori square with its indoor market, food and clothes shops, a department store, a chemist’s, a post office and banks. Paasitorni itself offers a wide range of dining opportunities under one roof. The restaurants, bars and cafes of Hakaniemi and Kallio, each with their own individual character, complete the picture.
There is plenty of accommodation nearby. The top class Hilton Helsinki Strand and the charming city hotel Cumulus Hakaniemi are just a few hundred metres from Paasitorni. Many of the hotels in the heart of the city are just a short walk away. In the end of summer 2012 it will become even easier for Paasitorni’s guests to find handy hotel accommodation as a high quality hotel, the individually designed Scandic Paasi with 170 rooms, is set to open as part of the same complex.
Paasitorni’s natural setting, on the waterfront and surrounded by parks, is a refreshing oasis in the centre of the Finnish capital and a popular area for outdoor recreation. The area is known for its culture, including its theatres (Helsinki City Theatre, UIT, Ryhmäteatteri) and the concert venue Huvila-teltta’s programme during the Helsinki Festival.
