Quality system since 1999

In 1999 Paasitorni was the first Finnish congress centre to gain quality accreditation.
External, independent evaluation every year and ISO 9001 accreditation gained as a result assure customers that our conference services, our products and our staff are first class in terms of quality and competence. Accreditation emphasises the importance of a sustained commitment and ongoing improvement. Customer feedback plays an important role in this respect.

Environmental management system 2012

In 2012 Paasitorni extended its quality system into a management system which also incorporates an environmental management system.

In April 2012 Paasitorni gained environmental certification under ISO 14001, a strong signal of a responsible approach to the environment. The certificate provides tools for operating in line with sustainable development and for on-going improvements, helping us to turn environmental awareness from words into action.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Finland

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the world’s largest independent, non-profit organisation for conference and events organisers. It offers its members opportunities for professional development and training and a chance to exchange experiences with other professionals in their field.
MPI’s members include providers of conferences and events such as hotels, conference and congress venues, airlines, programme providers, etc. and the purchasers of services, such as those involved in planning and/or running congresses and events for organisations and companies. Paasitorni’s professionals have been active members of MPI’s Finland chapter for some years.

Central government framework supplier

Hansel Oy provides efficient procurement management services for central government clients, putting the products and services required by its clients out to competitive tender through about 70 framework agreements, including a framework agreement for Finnish conference services for 2012 - 2014. By signing up to a framework agreement, Finnish government clients can carry out procurement without having to run their own public tender. Paasitorni is one of the central government framework agreement suppliers under the framework agreement for Finnish conference services.
