We are building a hotel and new conference and restaurant premises in the Paasitorni complex. The work is expected to be complete in the end of summer 2012. The construction work will cause some disruption to arrangements for events organisers and those setting up exhibitions. Please check our website for the latest information.
Opening hours
Paasitorni is open when events are being held in the premises. Until the hotel building work is complete, days which are not booked for conferences are reserved for construction work, so the external doors will be kept closed. Access to the Paasitorni congress centre
The main entrance to the Paasitorni congress centre is on Paasivuorenkatu (5 A). Until the hotel building work is complete, access to events at Restaurant Paasi will be via the congress centre entrance.
Disabled access: access is through the entrance to Restaurant Paasi next to the main entrance to the conference centre (ramp). Please contact conference services on entering the building (tel. +358 (0)9 7089 613)
Deliveries
Deliveries for events organisers and those setting up exhibitions (brochures, structures, etc.) must be agreed with the sales office in advance (tel. +358 (0)9 - 7089 611) or with conference services (tel. +358 (0)9 - 7089 613). Opportunities to store materials at Paasitorni are limited and must always be agreed ahead. Regarding deliveries, please take into account changes to opening times during the hotel construction period.
Deliveries should be made via the main entrance to the Paasitorni conference centre (a few steps) or through the adjacent entrance to Restaurant Paasi (ramp). Please contact conference services in the vestibule on entering the building (tel. +358 (09) 7089 613) Conference services will be happy to lend you a sack barrow to transport materials.
There are two lifts in the building. Lift 1 runs between floor 1 (vestibule), floor 2 (Restaurant Paasi), and floors 3 and 4. Lift 2 runs between floor 1 (vestibule) and floors 1 ½ , 2 ½ (Congress Hall) and 3 ½. There is no lift access to the Library, Boardroom, room 501 or Huippu. Room 501 will be accessible by lift once the hotel construction work is complete in spring 2012.
Lift 1: width 110 cm, depth 140 cm, height 220 cm, door width 80 cm and capacity 630 kg
Lift 2: width 110 cm, depth 210 cm, height 217 cm, door width 80 cm and capacity 1000 kg
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for organisers or those setting up exhibitions. More information about parking in the area can be found here.
