Built in the first decades of the twentieth century, Helsinki Congress Paasitorni is a unique meeting and conference centre in the heart of Helsinki. Paasitorni enjoys a waterfront location in Siltasaari, near Hakaniemi market, and within easy reach of excellent transport links. The building is of great historic value and the premises have been painstakingly restored.

Top conference facilities

Paasitorni offers an exceptionally wide range of top conference facilities. The building offers almost 30 practical spaces, individual in character and equipped with the latest technical equipment, for groups of 8 to 800 people. Our range of premises will be expanded in the end of summer 2012 with the addition of three new meeting rooms and a foyer. Fabulous restaurants

Paasitorni boasts three restaurants, each with their own individual character: Restaurant Paasi for conference guests and booked groups, the à la carte restaurant Graniittilinna and the more laid-back bar and restaurant Juttutupa. Restaurant Paasi and Graniittilinna also have private dining rooms for groups. The range of dining options offered by Paasitorni’s restaurants will be extended even further with the opening of a new restaurant, Paasin Kellari, in the end of summer 2012. Plans are for the restaurant to also have a floating 200-seat restaurant pavilion in Eläintarhanlahti bay in front of Paasitorni by spring 2013. Historic hotel

Scandic Paasi, a new hotel with 170 rooms is currently being built in the Paasitorni complex. With individuality as its watchword, Paasitorni’s historic architecture will be complemented by the latest in design and an exceptionally varied range of rooms. Set to open in the end of summer 2012, the eagerly awaited hotel will provide direct access to the conference centre and the restaurants through the building and via the inner courtyard.
